Mercury Phu Quoc Resort & Villas - Free Airport Pick-up

This is a new, luxurious hotel. We felt really comfortable and wished to stay longer. The staff is absolutely kind and very helpful.

This place made us feel so special. Their service was definitely better than any other 5-star resort we stayed in Vietnam. We stayed here only for half a day before checking into another resort as my flight arrived too late, but wished we had stayed here a bit longer! Shuttle from/to the airport and downtown. Golf cart with a driver picks you up to go anywhere around the resort. Nice breakfast. Quiet and peaceful beach and pool. Plus, really affordable compared to any other same-level resorts. Nothing to complain about!

There are no tourists visiting places around the resort, but any other nice resort you stay at will be the same in Phu Quoc, so that is not a problem. Plus, this place provides a shuttle to/from the city/airport, which other places often only offer airport shuttles.

Location of resort was good although a bit far from the shops and restaurants. There was a small convenience store nearby for water and snacks. Pool was excellent. Beach area was perfect with enough deck chairs and towels and a nearby shower area. Staff were helpful and attentive. We were able to book tours and a shuttle bus was provided twice a day for visits to a pearl factory, silk processing store and King Kong Mart where there was a lot of clothing, clothing, gift ideas for sale. Breakfast was plentiful and varied.

Sea was good but on occasion there was a lot of plastic waste washed up onto the beach. The staff regularly cleared this. On occasion the water was cloudy and a bit smelly. Generally water is not clear but acceptable. Limited choice for breakfast in terms of vegetarian food and NO halal food for the large number of Muslim guests that do stay here. The curries I ordered for dinner were tasteless and the 'naan' bread was not up to standard resulting in me pointing this out.

We paid high cost of Luxury Pool Vila , and the pool is damn dirty that no one want to swim , its fully waste of moneyhighly paid charges for extra bed and breakfast for kids, which insist us to take a extra room for my kids aged 11 and 8 years... given us complementrt Spa vouchers to us, 10pcs each room but we cant use more then 1 time a day, and kids now allowed for spa, so actually we just can use 5 vouchers in 5 days, whats the sense of giving is 10 vouchers then when you not allowed to use spa 2 times in a day.....requested late check in for 2 rooms, they dont allowed for both rooms, just give extension of 1 hour for one room,although the whole property is empty during our visittime, even no courtesy to give extension more hours even though we said our flight is at 6 o clock evening, and we booked shuttle taxi from them at 4 o clock...at all its not worth to value and we dont recommend this property for family travellers

We like the location and it was quiet but nice property. Spa was really nice, they have given us 3 complimentary coupons.

Good hotel with live music every evening. A lot of good food options for breakfast. The pool is nice. They offer kayaking and free bikes

We had an amazing family stay at Mercury Phu Quoc Resort! Our room was right in front of the pool and beach—couldn’t ask for a better location. The staff were friendly, the breakfast buffet was excellent, and the restaurant food was great too. Loved the welcome fruits in the room and the free tea time at 3 PM. The beach was clean and peaceful, with free kayaking, and the pool was perfect for both kids and adults. There’s even a free shuttle tour and plenty of activities on-site.

Only downside was the pool bar not always having staff around, but everything else made up for it.

This pool is fine but needs some lighting in the pool. I swam around 6 t0 7.15 pm and hardly able to see my direction uner water cos there is no light inside the pool I like their generous supplies of passionfruit which I made nice juice with it with their kumquat water.

There is no shower cap in the room and housekeeping didn't top up toilet paper when it runs short. I stayed for 5 day 4 nites.

Wonderful resort. Excellent staff with a caring attitude always looking at ways to improve.Spacious rooms. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Good choice of breakfast (although more vegetarian options could be an improvement).Private beach is very nice. We didn't struggle getting sunbeds either there or by the pool.Housekeeping is very thorough. The room was perfectly cleaned throughout our stay.

Nice property in a secluded but pretty location. Right on the beach so a gorgeous view. Amazing buffet breakfast and great pool. I also had an amazing massage at the spa.

After check in we went and grabbed lunch which was average but the view was lovely with a fairly clean beach and clear sea.

We booked and paid quite a bit of money for a beachfront villa. There are 4 absolute beachfront villas with private pools, they put us in the villa closest to the main pool area which had a stage approximately 5 meters from our villa. Do not come here if you want to relax in peace and quiet! We were chilling on the day-bed outside our villa when at 4pm the loudest music was played through the huge speakers on the stage, it was so loud it made me jump. I asked and apparently the music happens every day. I like music don't get me wrong but this was so loud like a nightclub which is a bit much when you've been out for the day and just want to chill in the pool at 4pm, if it was in the evening it would be more acceptable. From either 6pm or 7pm there is live music which is a duet which was nice, but again, it was too close to the villa to be able to not have to listen if you didn't want to. The place is run down, needs a serious refurbish. Our safe was locked open so we could not use it. The plug socket next to the sink was broken. The hairdryer was useless (bring your own). There was a ring of scum around the bathtub. The restaurant staff took ages to take our order and were just chatting and messing around. The day-bed cusion had burn marks from cigarettes, the outside coffe table was broken, there was rust on the metal work. It was just a very tired place. It was as if they room hadn't been cleaned or checked over before our stay which we hadn't experienced anywhere in the rest of our travels. The villa was not private at all and guests were walking by and staring at us (the pathway to the main hotel is right next to you) and there are no fences for privacy. We awoke one morning to gardeners/cleaners sitting on our front lawn having tea. The private beach itself is fairly clean but as soon as you step outside the perimiter it was full of trash. I was overall really dissapointed in this hotel.

Mercury was amazing resort in I've ever seen. Calm, comfortable and delicious food and desserts. Room was nice view with pool. Free breakfast was very good and fresh. And 3pm tea time is nice so fresh desserts, dried fruits and milk. Far from Sunset town, Vinwonders and Vinsafari, bit far from downtown. I knew on check out day shuttle bus twice a day to downtown for free ?, and if you rent motorcycle you need international driving license.

The staff is very friendly, and our beach Villa with private pool was nice - Only a few meters to the beach.

Location is remote need bike or taxi to get anywhere but bikes are cheap and hotel supplied one which was very easy

Amazing resort, beautiful comfort villa, beautiful garden and very clean. Brekfast is super until 10am, variety of food, from 3pm - 4pm you have tea time, with some snacks, cofee and drink for free and every evening they bring in the room some fruit or biscuits for free. In the evening you can choose variety of meat and sea food for barbaque with bife salad. You have 20% discount on everything, coctails, beer, fruit etc... All employers are very kind and make you a perfect stay. For some people the resort is too far from town, but after a long travel in Vietnam, this is a compleet relax.

This was the last place we booked on our month long tour of Phu Quoc and the first large resort.At the previous resort my wife had injured her foot and could barely walk , upon seeing this Ms Truc one of the managers upgraded us to a villa with a private pool she also showed great compassion to her during our stay.The Luxury sea view villa was large with a comfortable bed and a fantastic bathroom also the pool was lovely.Breakfast was good and the restaurant food in the evening was of a good quality although if you wanted to eat out there were lots of options just a short Grab ride away.The only bad thing was the beaches either side of the private resort beach were traps for the usual plastic debris.

We booked the rooms with the swim up pool,it was lovely, the food at the restaurant was lovely and very good prices for a resort,you have a 20% off voucher when you arrive.Free bikes are available and the breakfast had a large selection

A little bit isolated,so if you want to try a different restaurant you would need to get a taxi It's dated and decor is old fashion

Everything! The location by the beach. Breakfast, lunch and dinner directly on the beach. White sands. Great for swimming. Friendly staff. Super breakfast buffet. Exceptional room overlooking a long swimming pool that stretches the entire width of the property. We came for five nights then booked for three weeks more.
